Description
Galvalume Steel Roof-to-Wall Flashing With Hem (Kick Available)
Roof-to-wall flashing, also called sidewall or headwall flashing, seals the edge of the roof. Providing an aesthetically pleasing connection between the rooftop and the wall, it perfectly seals the interface between the two planes. As a result, water does not enter the building, which could develop mold. Galvalume roof-to-wall flashings are typically used at the junction of roofs and chimneys or other vertical walls extending beyond the outline of the roof slope. To maximize the tightness of the joints, we recommend installation as in the attached diagram:
Sidewall Flashing Made of Galvalume Steel – Durability for Affordable Price
Sidewall flashings in the offer of North Shore Sheet Metals are distinguished by their excellent workmanship, above-average durability and attractive price. This is made possible by scale – each year, our company produces hundreds of thousands of linear feet of flashings, gutters and other sheet metal components. Being a large manufacturer of steel and aluminum products, we can compete on price, and thanks to the use of modern machinery, we also stand out with phenomenal quality.
Headwall flashings manufactured in our company are offered in two variants – with and without kick. In practice, by far the more common choice is sidewall flashings, which are used to seal roofs made by GAF roofing contractor Glenview as well as other companies installing asphalt shingles and cedar shakes. For roof-to-wall flashings with kick, roofs made of steel or aluminum are used.
For even greater durability and aesthetics, our roof-to-wall flashings are coated with a thick zinc coating that offers superior corrosion protection for many years. The process of galvanization makes our roof-to-wall flashing protected from direct sunlight, water and salt.
The thickness of the sheet metal we use is also not insignificant. Engineers employed by North Shore Sheet Metals have spent hundreds of hours selecting the ideal galvanized steel sheet thickness that offers the perfect compromise between weight, bending resistance, brittleness and price. As a result, by choosing roof-to-wall flashings made from 0.025” (24 Ga) zinc-coated steel you are assured that your customer will enjoy many years of trouble-free use of their roof, no matter where they live.
