Refund and Returns Policy
Overview
All products sold by ABM Distributing Inc. under the brand of North Shore Sheet Metals are custom-made to order and manufactured according to the customer’s specifications.
Because of the custom nature of our products, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds once an order has been placed and production has begun.
No Returns on Custom Products
Custom-made products are exempt from return under applicable consumer protection laws.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- products manufactured to customer-selected dimensions
- products fabricated to order
- custom sheet metal components
- made-to-spec roofing and flashing products
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be canceled, modified, returned, or refunded.
Damaged or Defective Items
We take quality seriously. If your order contains a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To be eligible for review, you must provide:
- proof of purchase
- photos of the damaged or defective item
- photos of the original packaging
If the issue is confirmed to be caused by our error, we will, at our discretion:
- repair the product, or
- replace the product with the same item
Refunds are not issued for custom-made products.
Shipping Issues
We are not responsible for:
delays caused by the carrier
damage resulting from improper handling after delivery
- damage resulting from improper handling during the transport
incorrect measurements or specifications provided by the customer
Sale Items
All items, including discounted or promotional products, are final sale and are not eligible for refunds or returns.
